Happen to drive by and spotted a Bak Koot Teh shop. Decided to drop off to try it and i was not disappointed.
There were complimentary parking spots for customers patronising the row of shops, but be warned, it definitely is limited, especially during peak hours. I am lucky to get the last lot available.
From my search in Google Maps, it seemed to be quite popular in the area, with mostly positive reviews online. From some research, I found out that their Bak Koot Teh has a litttle twist to it. The soup include things like mushrooms, tau pok, lettuce, pig intestines, corn and more.
The soup was yummy and the amount they provide were generous. Although it is a little pricey for a 1 person meal, the quality of the food makes it worth the time. The free parking is a cool bonus too. Will definitely go again when I pass by the area.
Yummy Meter: (4.4 / 5)
Introvert Meter: (3 / 5) => Nice place to dine along, but not during peak hours, where you might have to share seats.
